Theres no ‘I’ In Myke
This Campaign is Best Positioned to Defeat Terry Wong
As we head into Election Day on Monday, I want to take a moment to celebrate what we’ve built together.
Thanks to the efforts of an army of volunteers and supporters, this campaign is best positioned to defeat Terry Wong and deliver strong, independent progressive leadership for Ward 7.
We Have People-Powered Momentum
We’re heading into these final days with serious momentum:
We knocked every door in the ward and are revisiting neighbourhoods for round two.
We delivered our 12-page newspaper to over 25,000 homes and it was so effective that Terry Wong spent Thanksgiving weekend on damage control responding to it.
We dropped over 10,000 door hangers at apartments, including translated literature for Chinatown.
Progressives are Coming TOgether Around This Campaign
Progressives in Ward 7 are uniting:
We have by far the most lawn signs: over 450 on private property— possibly the highest count of any council candidate city-wide.
We raised over $4,000 in a community art auction powered by 40 generous local artists and makers.
We earned the support of respected community leaders — including the most recent endorsement from Druh Farrell, former Ward 7 councillor for over two decades.
From silkscreening signs to knocking on doors to organizing events — this campaign has been built by friends and neighbours who care deeply about our future.
This is what people power looks like, and I’m endlessly grateful to every one of you who’s made this possible.
We will Win With Your Help
Now we look to the election day on Monday. This race will be close, but we will win this with your help. I need your vote — but I also hope you’ll lend me your voice by telling a friend, getting a lawn sign, talking to your neighbours, and posting about it on social media.
Remember, There’s no “I” in Myke, so let’s show what Ward 7 can do when we all come together.
