I’m excited to receive this next endorsement from local entrepreneur and community builder Lourdes Juan!

Lourdes is an absolute powerhouse and such a doer in our community. She’s the founder of @hivedevelopments, @leftoversfoundation, @freshroutes, @kneadtechinc, and @somacalgary— each one a testament to her vision for impact and innovation. In fact, she squeezed me in for a photo while she was at Platform Calgary receiving an award for being one of the Top 25 Women In Tech in Canada (no big deal…).

She’s one of those people who sees problems as opportunities and applies her unique lens to social impact and innovation.

I’m very fortunate to have her see the value in my bid for Ward 7. Thanks Lourdes!

As someone who works in both urban planning and deeply involved in community work, I believe Myke Atkinson is the right choice for Ward 7. He understands the importance of strong, connected neighbourhoods and will bring the kind of leadership that puts people first. I love that he’s an independent candidate and I know he will thrive as a City Councillor.
